Beginning the process of finding articles that support your idea can be a daunting task. Looking through various search engines and library sites can be overwhelming when trying to find those pieces of information that best fit with what you want to convey. When asked to reflect on the process of creating an article analysis seemed like a easy task at first, but once I began I found that it was a bit more difficult than I previously thought. I needed to reassess where I want to begin and what information I wanted to include in my final project later in the semester.
I had a few articles already picked out, ready to be summarized, and added to my list of items I would use to build my research foundation. I thought I had the first article decided upon, but after reading it, I decided that I needed something a bit more robust and focused. Settling on an article that was more specific to the topic I want to address made the analysis much easier. Even though the information was based in Poland, it addressed a very similar topic of Urban Vs. Rural Digital Divide.
The analysis process was straight forward with each section clearly identified with the most important parts of the authors research clearly labelled and explained. Admittedly, I have found the analysis of the initial article very beneficial thus far, it allows me the convenience of referring to the information quickly and easily. I look forward to completing more of these in the coming weeks.
